the art bat

the art bat is one of my favorite notepad themes. Basically the images within the notepad show The Bat as being different artists and as being paintings from a specific art era. The cover is The Bat as Rene Magritte's famous painting "The Son of Man".

another famous painting that became an inspiration was "The Scream" by the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch. The specific painting has been released in so many versions, so why not in the Bat version, too?

Then we have Toulouse Batec. I dont know, i just find it very funny and every time i see it i cant stop laughing. Of course it is the Bat as the famous  French painter and kind of traumatized Henri de Toulouse - Lautrec.  We tried to make the bat look shorter to resemble Lautrec 's disabilities and voila as the French would say.

closed to that period i think is the poster that we used the well known  Chat Noir by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen made  for a cabaret (if anyone has more accurate information you are welcome to share). Of course for our needs the Chat Noir became The Bat Noir.

we tried to present The Bat as if it was a cubist painting, or a painting based on pointillism, we presented him like a graffiti,  we even made a modern triptych or a impressionist version of him.

Last but not least as they say, we have the great Salbator! The characteristic moustache, the crazy-genius look is nothing but an homage to Salvador Dali.   I think the painting itself is surrealistic, so thumps up for Salbator.
