once upon a time ...it was divorce

Besides health issues, there are other situations that a small child may find himself/herself into and feel bad, like when mommy and daddy break up. This is something heart breaking for a child. Most of the times children feel the divorce it s their fault. Of course that is not true, but how can you explain this to a 4 -year -old? Again, by telling the truth, by not hiding things, by expressing feelings, by giving reassurance and most important, by talking all together. I find it very important that parents should leave aside their conflicts, when it comes to their children. And this is the most difficult thing, but at the same time the most crucial for the child's state and understanding.
